Privacy Policy
We never share your resume with employers, recruiters, advertisers or any other third party without your separate opt-in. We use it to find and score jobs for you, and that's all.
Who we are
CallAaya is run by [operator name, set OPERATOR_NAME]. Questions about your data: hello@priyanshu.co.
Your resume
- When you search, check your fit or run the ATS check, we read the file into text and send it to the AI service that does the scoring (Jev, by TypeSafe). We don't store the file or its text, unless you turn on job alerts (below).
- We keep the answers for 30 days: what the AI read from it (the name on it, your role, city and skills) and how it scored against jobs. They're filed under a one-way code made from the resume, so the same search again is instant and free. After 30 days they're deleted.
- If you're signed in, we also keep a one-way fingerprint of your latest resume and which ATS issues it had, to work out your Hire-Readiness Score.
- Job alerts (only if you turn them on): you tick a separate box to let us keep your resume text, so new jobs can be scored against it while you're away. It's kept only while alerts are on. Turning alerts off, deleting your account, or not opening an alert for 90 days deletes it, along with the roles your alerts found.
- Dream Job Packages: to write one, we send your resume and the job post to OpenAI. The tailored resume, cover letter and interview prep are saved to your account until you delete your account.
- Resume Studio (only if you use it): you tick a separate box to let us keep your resume text while you edit it. We send it to OpenAI to split it into its parts and to write suggested fixes (with any answers you type in), and to TypeSafe to check each line and each fix. You can delete it from Studio any time; it's also deleted with your account, or after 90 days unopened. If you build a resume in Studio instead, your answers are kept the same way, after the same box, until you finish (they then become your Studio resume), start over, or leave them untouched for 90 days.
- Search history and My resumes: when you're signed in, your latest 20 searches (your matches and what was read from your resume, like your role and city) are saved to your account so they follow you across devices. For each resume file you use, we also keep its name, a one-way fingerprint of the file, and its ATS scores and the names of the issues found. Not the resume itself. Signed out, nothing is kept.
- Application tracker (only if you use it): the job details you save or enter, your chosen stage, notes and dates are kept privately on your account, with a copy of the job posting if you aim your resume at the job in Resume Studio. We do not send your notes, stage or dates to an AI or to employers; when you aim your resume at a tracked job, the job posting is checked against your resume the same way as a fit check. You can remove an entry any time; deleting your account deletes all your entries.
- While you sign in, a file you were uploading waits in your browser tab (not on our servers) so it can carry on afterwards.
Your account and use of CallAaya
- Account: your name, email and (if you add it) phone number, held by Clerk, which runs our sign-in.
- Limits: how many searches and checks you've used and which matches were shown in full, kept 30 days. If you're not signed in, these are counted per network using a one-way code made from your IP address; the address itself isn't stored.
- Apply clicks: which job you opened from CallAaya, kept 12 months. We note who clicked only when you're signed in.
- Hire-Readiness Score: your score, streak and the actions that earned points, kept while you have an account.
- Payments: Razorpay takes your card, UPI or bank details; we never see them. We keep the order, amount, date and status for as long as Indian tax law requires.
- Email: the weekly score email, if it's on. Every one has a one-click unsubscribe.
- How you found us: the campaign tags on the link you arrived by, the site that sent you and the page you landed on, kept in your browser until you sign up, then on your account. It tells us which places bring people who find CallAaya useful. We don't follow you around other sites.
- Invites: if you joined through a friend's link, we link your account to theirs. To give the free Dream Job Packages, you verify a phone number with a one-time code; we keep only a one-way code made from that number, so each number can earn the reward once.
- WhatsApp, only if you turn it on: your mobile number, to send the weekly summary there instead of email (through AiSensy). Reply STOP, or switch it off in Your progress, and it stops. We keep when you turned it on or off.
Who processes it for us
These services run parts of CallAaya on our behalf and get only what their part needs: TypeSafe (resume reading and scoring), OpenAI (Dream Job Packages), Clerk (sign-in), Razorpay (payments), Turso (our database), Vercel (hosting) and Resend (email) and AiSensy (WhatsApp, if you turn it on). Each handles it under its own privacy policy.
We never apply to jobs for you. When you press Apply, you go to the employer's page and decide what to send them.
How we protect it
- Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS).
- Resume text is never written to our logs.
- What we store about you can only be reached through your signed-in account.
- No advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.

Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent, and nominate someone to act for you.
- Delete your account any time from Your progress, then Delete my account. Your account, resume data, packages, history and score are deleted straight away; the few things we can't link back to you (the 30-day AI answers) expire within 30 days. Payment records are kept as the law requires.
- Withdraw consent: untick the box by any upload, or delete your account.
- Anything else, or a complaint: write to hello@priyanshu.co. We aim to reply within 7 days. You can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Age
CallAaya is for people aged 18 and over.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and ask you to agree again before your next upload.
